It’s taken me a while to get back into the groove of life in Los Angeles. Keeping this journal to share my stories with my colleagues and companions helps me gauge my pilgrimage along this precipice between what I have known and charting where I want to be.

I offer these glimpses of life as I move through endlessly beautiful breathtaking paths and passages. Fragments of thoughts, hiakus and snapshots. Simmering in the shimmer of lessons learned on the road … grateful for time to stop, take in my surroundings, get my bearings and watch the path unfold … reflections and images connect, focus, dissipate … knowing what stands within and behind me … meditations on groundlessness, ebb and flow, jumping off and jumping in.

Laying on the ground watching the woodpeckers fill the huge oak.  Wandering through crevaces and caves, hearing echos of tribal migrations. Calm deer gaze at me, unafraid. Sunrise bursts onto the beach with devastatingly beautiful golden sparkles bouncing off sea and sand.

Back home, I welcome the fall and new phase of creativity ushering in the season of harvest. I welcome you to comment and share this post.
